An Information Technology Administrator (sometimes referred to as IT Administrator) is responsible for managing and maintaining the computer systems, networks and software used by Turenne PharMedCo using the most effective and efficient methodologies available while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain all technology assets of Turenne PharMedCo and related companies and divisions.
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Configure and maintain company servers and networks, including enterprise software and security systems.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels on network resources such as servers, databases, and shared folders.
  • Administer operating systems, email servers and internet access for all internal and external team members.
  • Conduct regular security audits and implement security measures such as firewalls, anti-virus software, and user training.
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect data and ensure business continuity.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and threats in the IT industry, and proactively implement appropriate measures.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide technical support to end-users both in person and remotely.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions, upgrades, and improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate IT support.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Previous experience in Information Systems or Systems Administration.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry highly preferred.
  • Industry certificaitons preferred: MCSE, MCTP, A+, etc.
  • Must understand and show good relational database knowledge, concepts and file structures.
  • Close attention to detail for accuracy and efficiency and superior organizational skills.
  • Must understand State and Federal privacy laws.
  • Must understand virtualization and storage concepts.
  • Must understand telecommunication systems such as network switches, phone systems, fax systems, data networks, etc.
  • Must be able to travel to remote branches as needed for support.
  • Travel may include visiting a facility once per week during the day.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, bending, fine hand coordination, ability to read, speak, understand, and write in English.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with customers, personnel, and support agencies.
  • Must have the ability to lift (50-pound minimum), ability to work assigned schedule, ability to identify fire/disaster emergency signals, and ability to remain calm under stress.
